i photographed baby matilda and her family when she was just ten days old. i aboslutely love that newborn haze — mom and dad equally excited and exhausted. so much to look forward to, so much love, so many sleepy snuggles.

i love getting to shoot for brands and small businesses, and shooting at three little birds in hyattsville was so much fun! there’s so much to explore in this space — so many gorgeous patterns and so many lush and luxurious fabrics you can create your own clothing with. i’m always so inspired when i visit; my hope is that these images inspire their followers to come in and create, too!

roth family | mclean, va

i started my session with the roths in their backyard where the boys played catch while clothes were airdrying on the line. a pretty perfect saturday. we snapped some pics at home with their dog, then headed to a nearby hiking trail so the boys could run around and burn some energy.
